Israel Bond Women's Fashion Show
at Shaarey Zedek to Feature Fashions
for Round-the-Clock Occasions

Francisco for a special show-
ing of . his fashions when the
war broke out. He did an
in. m e d i ate turn-around,
catching the first available
plane back to Israel. When
he arrived at his plant, he
found that every man in his
factory, with one exception,
had been drafted. He also
found that the women had
taken over, and every order
was completed and delivered
on time.
Also overcoming the war-
created shortages was a high-
fashion leather designer lo-
cated in a settlement near
the Syrian border who moved
his entire operation under-
ground, bringing in kinder-
garten teachers, nurses and
several thousand dollars
worth of toys for the chil-
dren. Everyone worked and
lived together in the shelter
until the cease fire. The com-
pany was able to meet vir-
tually all of its orders.
This year's fashion show
will feature actress Shelley
Winters, international star
of stage, screen and televi-
sion, who will be honored
with the Israel Bond Masada
Award • "for her efforts on
behalf of Jewish causes and
Israel."

was created in the midst of
a war.
In 1973 manufacturers had
written up record-breaking
orders and their potential
was for the best year ever,
and Israel's garment indus-

despite the manpower short-
age and transportation dif-

CHEESE
RAVIOLI

This Italian chef could have
had a Jewish mother. Ravioli
by Chef Boy-Ar-Dee are as
luscious as kreplach. But its
cheese they're bursting with.
Chef Boy-Ar-Deep simmers
his ravioli in a savory tomato
sauce, rich with more cheese
mmmm, ideal for a meat-
less meal! All you have to do
is heat—and watch them eat.
Keep plenty handy to make
your family happy when
they're hungry-in-a-hurry.
