Conference in Israel

NEW YORK — The Na-
tional Council of Jewish
Women has launched a regis-
tration drive for its Second
Summit Conference in Israel
Ej —Nov. 6-13 in which nearly
1 300 delegates from communi-
ties across the United States
are expected to participate.
The summit schedule will
emphasize on-the-scene sur-
veys of NCJW Israel pro-
grams; briefings by top-level
government leaders; and dia-
logues with educators and
social workers; discussions
with Israeli women volun-
teers, all interspersed with
tours of historical, scenic and
modern Israel.
