Harriet Jo Bauman and
Sanford Jay Mall were mar-
ried in a recent ceremony
solemnized by Rabbi Jacob
Segal and Cantor Nicholas
Fenakel at Cong. Adat Sha-
lom.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel
Bauman of Shelley Dr.,
Southfield. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. Eugene Mall
and Mrs. Barbara Pollard,
both of Brighton.
Mrs. Leonard Portner,
sister of the bride, was ma-
tron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Lawrence Wasser,
sister of the bride; Mrs. Neil
Bauman; and Arlene and
Karen Mall, sisters of the
bridegroom, Flower girls
were Toby and Julie Portner.
David Maldaver was his
nephew's best man. Ushers
were Neil Bauman, brother
of the bride, and Lawrence
Wasser. Joey Mall was ring
bearer.
The bride wore a silk or-
ganza gown trimmed in Alen-
con lace. A matching picture
hat held a shoulder-length
veil of silk illusion. She car-
ried Stephanotis, roses and
baby's breath on her mother's
prayer book.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mal-
daver, grandparents of the
bridegroom, and Mrs. Ann
Mall, grandmother of the
bridegroom, also participated.
Following a Florida honey-
moon, the couple will live in
Southfield.

Delegates to Report on ZOA Convention

The Detroit District, Zion-
ist Organization of America,
will hold its first board meet-
ing 8 p.m. Wednesday at the
Zionist Cultural Center.
Convention reports will be
given by delegates to the
annual meeting, held in New
York. Detroit District Presi-
dent Dr. Sidney Z. Leib led
the delegation, which also
included Mrs. Leib, the Philip
Slomovitzes, Louis Panush-
es, Dr. and Mrs. Jack Green-
berg, Dr. and Mrs. Sanford
A. Bennett, Dr. and. Mrs.
Joel Hamburger, the Richard
Kramers, Mrs. Norma Hu-
