Kiryat Shemona,
Ma'alot ... Links
in Terror Chain

By MERIAM MARGOLIS
My anger like volcano
seethes,
My heart beats like a bird
encaged.
Not just against assassins
three,
Against the world am I
enraged!
Where was the outcry of
horror
When Kiryat Shemona
blood was spilled?
Where the UN condemna-
tion
Of savage murderers who
killed?
Not a word against them
uttered—
Yet, Israel's reprisal raid
Harshly was condemned by
Council,
Though empty houses
waste were laid!
What cruel, bitter irony!
Mute stood the world, no
nation cared—
And the terrorists
emboldened,
An even greater bloodbath
dared!
They, who turned away
from justice, ,
Must share the guilt of
evil plot,
In tragedy unspeakable
Of massacre at Ma'alot!
