CLEVELAND - "Kugel
Without Cholesteiol: - How to
Make Kosher Food Healthy"
was a highlight of a health
education class at Cleve-
land's Hebrew Academy, one
of the largest day school
affiliates of Torah Umesorah,
the National Society for He-
brew Day Schools. •
The class on kugel (noodle
pudding) was only one in a
series at the Hebrew Acade-
my in Cleveland-which has
an enrollment of 500 students
- designed to bring health
and nutrition education close
to the Jewish home and
kitchen.
Hebrew Day School staff
members and representatives
of the Heart Association co-
operated on a lecture series
dealing with festival menus,
which included chopped liver
without shmaltz (chicken
fat).
