Dr. Milton D. Glick, asso-
ciate professor of chemistry,
and Dr. Eva Kahana, associ-
ate professor of sociology,
have been named recipients
of the 12th annual Probus
Club Awards for Academic
Achievement at Wayne State
University.
Both will receive $1,000
grants, without restrictions,
and Probus Club plaques at
a reception to he held at 3:30
p.m. Thursday at the Mc-
Gregor Memorial Conference
Center on the WSU campus.
The Probus Club, an organ-
ization of Jewish professional
and businessmen, was estab-
lished in Detroit in 1939 and
is one of several such clubs
in the country.
In addition to the WSU
awards, the Probus C 1 u b
contributes gifts and grants
.to individual Detroit hospitals
and charities and has assisted
more than 100 students in
the completion of their col-
lege careers. Current presi-
dent of the club is Paul
Jacobs.
