Remember 5683 and your first pair of Florsheims?

It was 1927. The first year there was a Phillips shoe
store in Detroit, and the first year we helped people with
their traditional yearning to dress up for the High
Holy Days.
Today there are 10 Phillips stores in three cities,
(our eleventh, in Ann Arbor, opens in a few weeks),
and we couldn't begin to count how many hundreds of

thousands of people we've sent happily on their way in
Florsheims or some of our other fine shoes,
But, you know, as proud as we are of our stores and
Florsheims and things like that, what we really care about
most is how you walk.
We hope you'll always walk in peace.

Phillips Shoes. Northland (two stores), Eastland, Westland, Southland, 1254 Washington Boulevard (women's), Broadway at
Gratiot (men's). Flint's Genesee Valley Center Toledo's Woodville Mall and Franklin Park Mall.
