Graduation Slated
NEW YORK — Rabbi
Jung, president of the Brit
Mila School conducted at the
Mount Sinai Hospital, announ-
ced Dr. S. David Pomrinse,
director of the Mount Sinai
Hospital, will speak at grad-
uation exercises Wednesday.
This event will be the
school's second graduation
of men who are highly quali-
fied to perform Brit Mila
(ritual circumcision).

El, treasurer and a member of the executive committee,
National Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, participated in
the annual spring meeting of the executive committee at
NFTS headquarters in New York City. Mrs. Maltzer re-
ported on the NFTS general fund for the current fiscal year.
Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Selvan will live in Ann Arbor
following his graduation from Mount Sinai School of Medi-
cine in New York. Dr. Selvan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam
Selvan of Jerome Ave., Oak Park, will take his internship
and residency at University Hospital.

annual Louise Waterman

Commissioner of the New
York Department of Mental
Health and Mental Retarda-
tion Services; Julie Harris,
actress, and Judge Justine
Wise Polier, who recently re-
tired after 38 years on the
bench of the N e w York
Family Court.

Commissioner Bess Myerson
made the presentation to
Mrs. Lehman.
The award to Judge Polier,
a former president of the
American Jewish Congress
women's group, was pre-
sented by Mrs. Leona Chanin,
who heads the women's di-
vision executive committee.
Mrs. Jacqueline Levine of
West Orange, N.J., national
president of the women's di-
vision, delivered an anniver-
sary message in honor of the
group's 40th year and pre-
sented the awards to Dr.
Christmas and Miss Harris.
