RISHON-LE-ZION — The
treasurer of the local burial
society is in his 80s. Despite
his years, he continues to be
active and alert in running
the affairs of the society.
A 50-year-old citizen
bought the burial plot next to
his father.
When he asked for a re-
ceipt and a statement that
he had purchased this partic-
ular plot, the treasurer re-
plied: "Why do you need a
receipt or a statement? Don't
worry. When the day comes
to bury you, I'll remember."
