WINE, president of the
women's division of the Jew-
ish Welfare Federation, has
been elected for a one-year
term to the national board
of the United Jewish Ap-
peal women's division. Mrs.
Brandwine is a member of
the Federation's executive
Committee
and is on the
health and welfare planning
division. She also is a mem-
ber of the board of directors
of the Joint Distribution
Committee. Mrs. Brandwine
recently participated in the
annual meeting of the UJA
in New York City. Other De-
troit members of the board
are Mrs. John C. Hopp, Mrs.
Harry L. Jones, Mrs. Max
