Tel Aviv U. Blueprints Progress

York,Zionist and distinguished
Hadassah leader, has been
named national Israel Bond
chairman for Hadassah by its
president, Mrs. Max Matzkin,
Announcement was made by
Mrs. Jan Peerce, chairman
of the national women's di-
vision of Israel Bonds.

A five-year development plan for Tel Aviv University,
calling for the establishment of schools of architecture,
urban planning and education, was announced at a meeting
of the university's board of governors. The plan envisions
elementary and secondary schools for underprivileged
children and a hospital connected with the Sackler School
of Medicine at the University. Shown at the opening of the
hoard of governors meeting are (from left) Dr. George S.
Wise, chancellor of the university; Victor M. Carter,
chairman of the university's hoard of governors and
. president of American Friends of Tel Aviv University; and
