TORONTO—Abhie Nathan
has enlisted the help of a
Toronto engineer in the ef-
fort to launch a peace ship
which would foster under-
standing between Arab and
Israeli.
Kenneth Davis, a consult-
ing engineer who has raised
funds for other mercy oper-
ations, pledged to raise the
necessary $18,000 that will
see Nathan's old coastal .
vessel to the Mediterranean. ,
The ship, donated by the
people of Holland. was out-
fitted by Nathan as a float-
ing radio station, with a crew
of 20 to broadcast to the
Middle East in four lan-
guages. His chief editor is
a journalist from Norway.
About $200.000 already
has been raised, partly by
churches and partly by pc , -
sonal gifts, but mainly by
Nathan himself. He sold al-
