This booth at the Genesee Valley Shopping Center was set up by
the Flint Jewish Community Council to obtain signatures on petitions
asking President Nixon to speak up for the Jews in the Soviet Union
when he makes his trip to Moscow next month. Another booth was
set up at Eastland Mall. On the Passover days when Jews were in
the synagogue, Christians volunteered to man the booths, with the
coordination of the Interfaith Agency for Metropolitan Planning.
