Judi Martin became the bride of
Michael --Paul Krupkin. The -mar-
riage vows were solemnized by
Rabbis James Gordon- and Israel
Halpern and Cantor Shabtai Acker-
man.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs., Andrew- Martin of
Rosemary_ Ave., Oak Park. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving Krupkin of Califor-
nia and the grandson of Mrs. Anna'
Krupkin of Detroit.
The bride wore a silk organza,
Empire-waisted gown, with - a
sheer yolk. and sleeves. The' gown
and detachable train were covered
with pearl*encrusted Alencon - hkee.
A three-tier -mantilla trimmed in
matching lace was held by a Juliet
trimmed in Pearls.* ' .
The bridal procession was led
by the bride's sister, Peggi Mar-
tin. Maid of honor -was Karen
Krupkin, the bridegroom's sister.
Other bridesmaids were Nancy

First Showing of
Plans for a forest of 10,000 trees
to be planted in Israel by Mrs.
Jules Kraft, a longtime member
and past president of the—Women
of the Jewish National Fund, were
recently announced by Mrs. Wil-
liam Levin, fund-raising chairman
of Women of JNF. The forest will
be planted in the John F. Kennedy
Peace Forest near Jerusalem, and
will bear the name of the "Jules
and Shirley Kraft Family Forest."

In a recent evening ceremony at
Cong. Beth Abraham-Hillel, Ro-
chelle Kosofsky became the wife
of Lawrence H. Bello. Rabbi Is
rael Halpern officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Richard Goldsmith of
Adrian Ave., Southfield, and the
late Mr. Daniel Kosofsky. The
bridegroom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Julius Hello of Plumbrooke
Dr., Southfield.
Mrs. Bello wore a gown of silk
peau de soie. Seed pearls and
crystals created a bolero effect
and trimmed the turn-back cuff
of the long sleeves. Her veil of silk
illusion was secured by a matching
beaded Camelot headpiece, and
she carried a prayer book with
orchids and cascading ivy.
Mrs. Robert Sher, the bride's
sister, served as matron of honor.
The bridesmaids were Lynne
Bello, the bridegroom's sister;
Mrs. Jeffrey Dunn; Beverly, Beck-
er; -Ruth Mossok; and Sheila
Gruskin.
Mark Bello, the bridegroom's
brother, was best man. The ushers
were Jeffrey Goldmith, brother of
the bride; Jeffrey Dunn; Alex
Polsky; Marty Herkowitz; Steve
Sherman; Howard Deitch; and
Robert Sher.
The couple honeymooned in Ja-
maica.
