as the second lecturer in the Jew-
ish Community Council cultural
series 8 p.m. Jan. 9 at Temple
Beth EL
Tickets will be sold at the door
for those who do not have series
tickets.
Berg, who has been on the staff
of Mad magazine for 13 years, has
written and illustrated four books,
and his brand of satire and social
commentary is studied in college
psychology and literature courses.
He was an innovator of the comic
book industry, having written and
illustrated "Captain Marvel" and
"Archie."
