Children Are - Sought-
Mt._ Carmel _ . Mercy Hospital

Guild is starting a new volunteer
service the first of the year in
conjunction with the hospital's
Pediatric Rehab Center. Volunteer
hostesses will greet the children,
make appointments, answer the
phone and on occasion assist the
therapist with children. The only
requisite is liking and getting
along well with children. For de-

taken for an open rehearsal of the
Detroit Sympliony,2 p.m. Jan. 19
at Ford Auditorium. Preceding
thg rehearsal, Prof. Jason Teck-
ton, musical director of Temple
Beth El, will lecture about the
concert at 11 a.m., in the syna-
gogue, followed by luncheon at
noon. Transportation will be pro-
vided from the temple to the re-

CITY OF HOPE CANCER FIGHT-
ERS will meet noon Monday at
the Raleigh House. Refreshments
