Windsor Hadassah Bazaar:
From Book Booth to Boutiques
The fifth annual Windsor Hadas-
sah Bazaar and Exposition will
take place 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Wednes-
day at Cleary Auditorium and Con-
vention Hall.
Proceeds will be directed toward
Hadassah's many projects, such as
Youth Aliya, which has rehabili-
tated over 100,000 children from 72
countries. Hadassah also contrib-
utes generously to cancer and
heart research.
A new 1971 Ford Pinto and a
round-trip air ticket to Nassau,
plus a week's free hotel lodging,
will be the grand prizes.
Other features will be a new
furniture booth, a cafeteria featur-
ing Jewish delicacies, a giant bake
sale, auction at 7 p.m. and two
fur and fashion shows at 2:30 and
8 p.m.

Women's Tea to Aid
Stern College Fund
The women of the Great Lakes
Region, Union of Orthodox Congre-
gations, will sponsor their annual
scholarship tea for the benefit of
the Stern College for Women
scholarship fund 2-4 p.m. Sunday
at the home of Mrs. Arthur Selmar,
12800 Burton, Oak Park.
Mrs. Sharon Duchan Cohen, an
alumna of Stern, will sped on
"The Stern College Woman." A
large contingent of Detroit girls
are students at the women's col-
lege of Yeshiva University.
Featured on the program will be
George Gelberman, Detroit art
teacher, who will show his hand-
crafted jewelry and will show
color slides on the creation of such
jewelry.
Mrs. Seymour Ribiat, president
of the chapter, announced receipt
of a new supply of "Kashrut di-
rectories" of the Union of Ortho-
dox Jewish Congregations, featur-
ing the latest UG foods. Anyone

Jill Portner Mesirov was mar-
ried to Jerry L. Kazdan, son of
Mr. and Mrs. ;Herman Kazdan of
Kensington Ct., Southfield, in a
recent ceremony in Philadelphia.
Rabbis David Wice and Mortimer
J. Cohen officiated.
The bride, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Leon I. Mesirov of Phila-
delphia, was attended by her sis-
ters, Mrs. Thomas Rondell of Den-
ver and Mrs. Hans B. Greenberg
of Lafayette Hill, Pa.; and the
bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Gerald
Neff of Detroit. The flower girl
was Eve Wollman of Rydal, Pa.
Howard Kramer of Dunn Loring,
Va., was best man. The ushers
were Thomas Rondell, Hans B.
Greenberg and Gerald Neff.
