Furniture, Flower Show
The Detroit Department of Parks
and Recreation will have the larg-
est single garden in the 1971 Home,
Furniture and Flower Show at Cobo
Hall. The exhibition opens Friday
and runs through Feb. 28. Sponsor
of the multimillion-dollar show,
which annually generates about
$40,000,000 in business for Detroit
and its suburbs, is the Builders
Association of Metropolitan Detroit.
This is the 53rd year of the show,
which was one of the first exhibi-
tions in Cobo Hall when it was
completed a decade- ago.
