Youth Poetry Anthology
LOS ANGELES (JTA) — Poems
seeking to convey the relevance of
Judaic concepts and teachings to
contemporary problems of social
justice appear in "Jewish Youth
Poetry Anthology," a recent publi-
cation of the Westside Jewish Com-
munity Center. The poems are
written by Los Angeles junior and
senior high school students who
participated in a Jewish Youth
Poetry Festival co-sponsored by the
Community Center and the Bureau
of Jewish Education. The 36-page
publication includes 15 works from
the Third Traveling Print Exhibit
which is sponsored by the Center,
now on a three-year tour of the
United States.
