GUILD will hold its annual spring
luncheon meeting, noon today at
Bnai David Synagogue. Guest
speaker will be Dr. George Pick-
ett, public health director for the
Detroit and Wayne County Health
Departments. Dr. Pickett, a grad-
uate of McGill University Medical
School, received his masters de-
gree in public health from the Uni-
versity of Michigan. He has been
active in cancer and epidemiology
research and has written for many
publications. He is chairman of the
Michigan Council on Smoking and
Health and consultant to the Chil-
dren's Bureau and United States
Public Health Service. Also on the
agenda will be the election of the
Women's Guild officers for the
coming year.
