Use a 5 or 6.inch black iron pan—
Select a spoon which holds enough
batter to fill the bottom of the pan—
Put I Th. of oil in pan and heat till
very hot. Spill out oil and put a spoon-
ful of batter in the pan. Roll the pan
around quickly over a moderate high
heat and spill out any( excess batter.
When e.iges begin to brown turn blintz
with a sdatula and cook on second side.
Throw away first blintz—it's too oily.
DO not add any more oil to the pan.
Stack blintzes on clean dowel.

Jaffa Orange Recipe Contest Closes Today

and two cakes, all made with Jaffa

ORANGE CHOCOLATE FLNGER DIP
Scrub Jaffa oranges to remove any
wax or Preservative. Use one orange
for each person. Score a circle around
the top and the bottom peel of each
orange and then score down the sides
several times. Serve Jaffa oranges so
prepared on individual plates. When
peeled at the table the floral odor of
the oranges is most pleasant . . and
