Sartorial splendor alone
won't get you on
the best-dressed list.

You've got to have
heart. Be kind to someone influential. Like
the editor of Gentlemen's Quarterly. To
get off on the right foot, you'd
better subscribe to his magazine. After
that, maybe you should subscribe to
his secretary. Or maybe get friendly
• with his secretary.

Posture counts.
Think back to
your Army days.
G. in up, chest out,
stomach in. But make
sure you go to
all that trouble in
the right place.
Like "21" or the
"Four Seasons".
It's okay to sag when
you're at home.
In fact, you'll probably find that's all
you can do after a hard day of being fashionable.

Buy a yacht and take
Jackie for a cruise. Canoes and
Mable won't make it. You have to
exude an air of opulence. Lighting cigars with
fifty dollar bills is a nice ploy. But if you

never make the big time.

We're right behind you, dear customer.
For 39 years, we've been trying to get you,
or one of our other customers on the "10 Best

Dressed" list.
39 years of scouring the men's fashion shows
for the latest in men's clothing. And accessories.

Get seen.
Don't let
a flash bulb
go off without
being there.
Your favorite
word should
be "cheese". Just make
sure you make the news
for the right reasons. Opening
night at the theatre is fine.
Cutting the ribbon at the opening
of a new freeway is okay.
Going over a Niagara Falls in a
barrel is not so good.

39 years of our salesmen working hard to stay
on top of fashion trends—then offering meaning-
ful advice about those trends to our customers.

be even better. You've seen the great new stock of
colorful dress shirts. The double-breasteds. The
shaped and flared look. Everything.

39 years of our tailors learning how to make
the new styles fit. Perfectly.
Last year was a good one. And this year will

This year we're counting on you.
