Prizes for Exhibits
Four women's organizations re-
ceived awards for exhibits on their
work with youth at the recent an-
nual organizational exhibits meet-
ing of the League of Jewish Wom-
en's Organizations.
The Women's Auxiliary to the
Maimonides Medical Society placed
first for originality; Detroit Women
of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity,
first for content; Sinai Hospital
Women's Guild, first for artistic
quality; and Detroit Council of
Pioneer Women, first in the popular
vote by women in attendance.
Judges were Lester Arwin and
Gertrude Kasle, gallery owner;
Richard Boutin, chairman of the
art department at Southfield High
School; Leonard Frenke 1, vice
president of Aronsson Printing Co.;
and Alan E. Luckoff of Stone and
Simons advertising.

United Israel Bond Event

the first unit to occupy Jericho
and commanded tank forces on

a leading youth leader and educa-
tor.
