Recovery Panel to Show
How Group Functions,
Aids Nervous Persons

A panel demonstration by mem-
bers of Recovery, Inc., will be
presented 9 p.m. Jan. 12 at Cong.
Beth Achim.
Founded in 1937 by the late Dr.
Abraham A. Low, Recovery Inc.,
is a national, nonprofit organiza-
tion which offers a self-help, after-
care method to persons suffering
from nervous or mental disorders.
Through the demonstration, the
organization will explain and illus-
trate its systematic method of
self-help. Preceding the panel dis-
cussion. the group leader will pre-
sent a brief history of the organi-
zation and relate its basic con-
cepts.
There are 80 weekly meetings
held in Detroit and suburbs. They
are open to the public at no
charge.
