NEW YORK (JTA)—Rabbis are

York City by Rev. Howard Moody.
Baptist spiritual leader of the Jud-
son Memorial Church in Manhat-
tan. The CCSA grew out of a meet-

number of activist-minded New
York City clergymen, including
some Reform and Conservative
rabbis, who joined forces to liber-
alize New York State's rigid anti-
abortion law.
The CCSA was created with two
goals: to help women with prob-

of the 50 states. He told the
Jewish Telegraphic Agency that,
relative to the proportions of
Jewish and Christian women

adequate representation of rab-
bis in the units.
t
Generally, he reported, the per-
centage of calls from Jewish and
Christian women corresponds to
the percentage of members of
each faith in the population area
served. Jewish women comprise
about 30 per cent of the 5.000
women who have applied for help
