A reception in honor of Rabbi Moses Lehrman, sponsored by lead-
ers of Cong. Bnai Moshe, will be held at Town and Country Club, 4:30
p.m. April 15. The event is being planned as an advance tribute to the
Detroit rabbi who will receive an honorary doctor of divinity degree
from his alma mater, Jewish Theological Seminary of America, at its
June commencement exercises. The committee of sponsors, now in
formation, headed by Arthur Boschan, Bnai Moshe's seminary chair-
man, includes Sol R. Colton, Theodore M. Curtis, Alfred L. Deutsch,
Mitchell Feldman, Dr. Paul L. Fraiberg, Alfred Freedland, Erwin
Friedman, Peter Heiman, Harry B. Korman, Stephen Lanyi, Abraham
B. Miller, Donald J. Sachs, Oscar Spilkin, I William Sherr, Seymour
Sterling, Irving Y. Strickstein, Benjamin Weiss, Eugene Weiss and
Melvin Weisz.
