Judith Feuerman to Be
Receive Honors at Federation Meeting
The men who have given leader-
ship to the four budget and plan-
ning divisions of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation, since their forma-
tion 20 years ago, will be honored
at the annual meeting of Federa-
tion. 6 p.m. Thursday at the Jew-
ish Center.
Established to provide a better
approach toward orderly planning
for communal services as well as
agency buildings in Detroit so that
needs would be filled and social
problems solved by the commu-
nity. the divisions have used the
talents and interest of many hun-
dreds of volunteers through the
years. Almost 150 men and women
are currently serving as division
members.
"Through the divisions, Detroit
Jewry has created one of the na-
tion's best planned programs of
services in community relations,
education, health and welfare
and capital needs," Hyman
Safran, Federation president,
said. "With changing times
needs have changed and mem-
bers of the divisions have helped
develop programs and agencies
which through the years kept
up to date with specific prob-
lems, both local and national in
scope."
The chairman of the divisions
' who spent many hours of time
and effort in bringing about an
organized community are:
