NEW YORK—Beginning Oct. 9,
the Women's Institute of Jewish
Studies present a new diversi-
fied program of public lectures
and discussions on topics of vital
Jewish interest, open to both men
and women.
For decades a training ground
for leaders in women's movements,
the Institute was the first school
in New York to provide part-time
courses in Judaica for Jewish
women who wanted to know more
about their religious and cultural
heritage. It is an extension depart-
ment of the Jewish Theological
Seminary of America.

diced, and one cucumber, diced.

3/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon orange extract
7 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
Sift together flour, baking powder
and salt. Add sugar, egg yolks, orange
peel, orange juice, oil and
