Mrs. Joseph H. Jackier Nominated Claudia Rader E7igaged
for Federation Women's Presidency to Edqvard Neil. Keywell Ball Starts Rolling
The Women's Division of the
Jewish Federation has nominated
its new officers and members of
its board of directors for election
at its annual meeting on June 5
at the Jewish Center.
Mrs. Joseph H. Jackier was
nominated for the presidency of
the division. Other nominees are:
vice presidents: Mesdames John
N. Grekin, Melvin Kolbert, Ben
Mossman and Max Stollman; cor-
responding secretary, Mrs. George
M. Stutz; recording secretary,
:Mrs. Hugh W. Greenberg; repre-
sentative to the board of governors
of the Welfare Federation for a
one year term, Mrs. Hauser and
'Mrs. Jackier.
The nominating committee,
headed by Mrs. Benjamin Jones,
includes Mesdames Harry E.
August, Louis Berry, N. Brewster
Broder, Herschel V. Kreger, Tubie
Resnik and Isadore . Winkelman.
Other nominees are:
For board of directors for an
additional three year term, Mes-
dames William Avrunin, Alfred L
Deutsch, William L. Deutsch,
Harry Frank, Hugh W. Greenberg,
Edward Narons, David J. Pollack,
Bert L. Smokier, Charles Snider
and Milton A. Weiss.
For a three year term, Mes-
dames Morris Baker, Morris J.
Brandwine, Arnold E. Frank,
David J. Schachter, David Handle-
man and Bert P. Solomon.
The retiring president and cam-
paign chairman, nominated for
three year terms to the board of
directors upon the completion of
their terms of office, are: Mrs. I.
Jerome Hauser, retiring president;
Mrs. Arthur H. Rice, retiring cam-
paign chairman.
Nominees for an additional three-
year term to the advisory service
council are Mesdames Hymen C.
Broder, Lewis B. Daniels, Max
Frank, . Ivor J. Kahn, Julian H.
Krolik, Alexander W. Sanders,
Abraham Srere and Leonard H.
Weiner.
Additional nominations may be
made by petition, signed by 25
members and submitted at least
one week in advance of the annual
meeting, provided nominees have
consented to serve if nominated.

the 1968 Allied Jewish Campaign

are members of the women's divi-
sion and are entitled to vote at
Dr. and Mrs. Philip Rader of
the annual meeting.
Plumbrooke Dr., Southfield, an-
nounce the engagement of their
daughter Claudia to Edward Neil
Keywell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
B. Keywell of Jill Ave., Southfield.
Mr. Keywell, a graduate of
Wayne State University, attends
Wayne's graduate school. Miss
Rader is a senior in the WSU col-
lege of education,

The annual ORT Imperial Ball,
to be held 9 p.m. May 4 at Ral-
eigh House, is under the co-chair-
manship of Mrs. Jerry Krandall
and Mrs. Robert Feinberg.
The theme this year will be
"ORT Around the World." Stroll-
ing violinists will set the mood,
and an orchestra will play for
dancing.
As a special feature, a floor
show will feature the latest in
mod and conventional attire for
gentlemen. Another highlight of
the evening will be the awarding
of a car. The ORT souvenir jour-
nal, as well as favors and me-
mentos, will be distributed.
ORT Chapter presidents will act
as hostesses. Assisting the chair-
men will be Mrs. Ralph Borin,
Mrs. Fred Greenspan, Mrs. Frank
Winton and Mrs. Joseph Kerman.
