Mrs. Harold Marko and Mrs.
Herbert Kaufman, co-chairmen of
the sale, announce that more than
35,000 books will be available to
the public at low prices.
For the bibliophile, there are
many fine books published before
1900, according to the chairmen.
For high school and college stu-
dents, there are textbooks in law,
medicine, humanities, psychology,
mathematics, business, account-
ing, science, religion, history,
music, art, and many others.
There are encyclopedias, in ex-
cellent condition, books on art,
music, cookbook s, children's,
Bible stories, fairy tales and ad-
venture books. A collection of
records, issues of top magazines,
classics, bound in fine leather,
fiction and non-fiction paperbacks
are in the selection.
The. Goldfarb and Gersten-
zang science libraries of Bran-
deis University will benefit
from the success of this book
sale, as it is the responsibilty
of the National Women's Com-
mittee to completely support
and maintain them.
Mrs. Marko and Mrs. Kaufman
have been aided by the follow-
ing in collecting and sorting the
thousands of books: Mesdames
Herbert Burdick, Henry Frank,
Norman Gordon, Betty Jacob,
Bertha Levine, Jack Litwin, Wil-
liam Steinberg, Al Taubman,
Lawrence Wiener, Rolfe Weil and
Milton Zussman.
