assistant professor of humanities
at Wayne State University. 8:30

Center.
Dr. Shartar will discuss contem-
porary dramatists and the signifi-
cance of their plays in this
generation. There also will be a
dramatization with Center Theater
members June Snow, Carole Chase
and Hal Youngblood of radio sta-
tion WJR in connection with the
topic.
A graduate of Emory University,
Atlanta. Dr. Shartar received his
PhD in comparative literature of
the 20th Century, emphasizing its
drama. In Atlanta he acted in
