ophy as well as a volume of essays.
Dr. Silver also edited the Jubilee
Anthology, "In the Time of Har-
vest." in honor of the 70th birth-
day of his late father. Rabbi Abba
Ilillel Silver.
Prominent in numerous eduga-
tional and humanitarian activities,
Dr. Silver is a member of the
visiting committee for the human-
ities of Western Reserve-Case
University; the advisory committee,
Heritage Study of Cleveland Pub-
lic Schools; board of alumni over-
seers. Hebrew Union College-
Jewish Institute of Religion; and
the board of trustees. Council for
Economic Opportunities in Greater
Cleveland.
The National Foundation's ob-
