Hardly anyone likes to brag about reaching the age of 40, but we do!

Through the years Federation has tried to serve our Detroit community better
and better. We like to think that in our 40 years we have done much for ourselves
and for the Jewish people throughout the world.

Untold thousands have been helped through funds raised in the annual Allied
Jewish Campaign. In the United States we have created happier people, a more
secure people, a better community. Overseas we have rescued people, fed people,
clothed them, found new homes for them, saved lives.

As the old adage says "Life beginsat 40", so we pledge to continue our serv-
ices of planning and support for community agencies—and somehow make them
even better instruments for the enrichment of Jewish life.
Come to the Annual Meeting on Tuesday, September 27, at 6 p.m.
at the Jewish Community Center and help celebrate the birthday of the

organized Jewish Community.
