Ave. and the late Mrs. Betty
Finn. The bridegroom is the
son of Mrs. Reba Malamud of

the late Mr. Samuel Malamud.
Attending the bride was Paula
Sampson of Chicago, as matron
of honor. Alan Lipshy, brother-
in-law of the bridegroom, was
best man.
Following a wedding trip in
Canada, the couple now resides
in Oak Park.

DETROIT LADIES AUXILIARY
and POST 135 will service patients
at Ann Arbor Veterans Hospital
Wednesday. A picnic lunch will
be served in the auditorium for
55 or 60 patients and staff. The
TB ward also will be served.
Fannie Kaplan is auxiliary hos-
pital chairman, and Hannah
Seinwel is co-chairman. Morris
Seinwel is hospital chairman of
the post and Lou Schlein co-
chairman.

J. Olen in an evening ceremony
recently at Temple Israel.
The bridegroom is the son of
Dr. and Mrs. Alex Olen of Harvard
Avenue.
Rabbis Leon Fram and M. Rob-
ert Syme officiated at the cere-
mony.
The bride wore an imported
lace gown featuring an Empire
bodice and removable silk organdy
coat, with a cathedral-length train.
Matron of honor was Mrs.
Laurie Saber, and Judy Nosan-
chuk was maid of honor. Other
attendants were Sarajane Ser-
win, Rosalyn Maddin, Mrs. Lois
Gregg, Mrs. Marcia Rosin, Mrs.
Laurie Nosanchuk, Susan Gregg
and Jane Rosin, who were both
junior bridesmaids, and Bari
Suber, flower girl.
Dr. James Stoddard was best
man. Ushers were Robert Weiner,
Fred Gebstadt, Dr. Harold Gregg,
Merlin Rosin; Michael Nosanchuk
and Gordon Silber.
The couple honeymooned in
Hollywood before taking up resi-
dence in Los Angeles.

Farband Hebrew Award
Coes to 2-Time Winner

Leonard Schreiman, a recent
graduate of Wayne State Univer-
sity, has been named the 1966 re-
cipient of the Farband Award for
Excellence in Hebrew at Wayne.
The $100 award is given once a
year by the Labor Zionist Organiza-
tion to the student designated by
the university as having the high-
est achievement.
This is the second time Schrei-
man has been so honored, having
received the award in 1964. He is
continuing his studies at Wayne's
Law School and resides with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Schrei-
man of Cheyenne Ave.
