The Detroit Police Officers
Wives Association will present its
third annual spring benefit fash-
ion show 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, at
the Monaghan Knights of Colum-
bus Hall. Proceeds go into the
Police Wives Benefit Fund, which
helps the families of Detroit police
officers during emergencies, par-
ticularly those causing the injury
or death of an officer in the per-
formance of his duty. For ticket

The annual luncheon meeting of
the MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF
HOSPITAL AUXILIARIES for the
Southeastern District will be held

DAY AND PICNIC June 26 at
Walled Lake Amusement Park.

Letter Carriers Benevolent Fund
which pays sick, death, retirement,
health and welfare benefits to the
letter carriers, their widows and
children, not covered by their em-

former staff members in June and

celebration will mark the 100th
anniversary of Sophie Wright, the
pioneer in adult education. The
settlement's executive director,
