FRANKFURT (JTA) — A new
high school here will be named
after Martin Buber, the German-
born Jewish philosopher who died
in Israel last year. The decision
to name the school after the world-
famous philosopher was adopted
by the Frankfurt municipality at
the request of the Christian Demo-
cratic faction. The municipality
had also considered naming a
street after Buber, but a Martin
Luckerstrasse already exists.
