At the Givenchy-Israel Fashion Show Luncheon, attended by
more than 600 women and which resulted in more than $100,000 in
Israel Bond subscriptions, are (from left) Mrs. Morris L. Schaver,
chairman of the Israel Bond Women's Division, which sponsored
the fashion festival; Col. Dina Werth, former commander of the
Women's Army of Israel; Sam Cardinal, who coordinated the col-
lection of 4'7 original costumes; and Cindy Adams, author, and fash-
ion expert, who commentated the show. The affair, highlight of the
Women's Division campaign, was held in the Latin Quarter. Consul
Generals Jean LeDireach of France and Jacob Barmore of Israel
brought greetings from the two countries. The "Star of Israel"
diamond creation, designed and presented by Mr. and Mrs. Norman
Allan, was won by Mrs. Milton Weiss, fashion festival chairman.

The initial Israel Bond High Holy Day Cash Collection breakfast
will be held 10 a.m. Sunday in the Israel Bond office. Many volunteer
workers are participating in the campaign to convert pledges into
cash for Israel, with all the sisterhoods of the synagogues mobilized.
