nounced at a press conference here.
Joseph Meyerhoff, the Fund's
chairman, and IEF president
Charles J. Bensely said the gift
would be used to build high schools
and related 'educational facilities
and to provide teacher-training
scholarships in Israel.
Three of 13 IEF high schools
currently under construction in Is-
rael have been made possible by
previous Rogosin Foundation con-
tributions. All are comprehensive
schools, the type of facility on
which Israel's educators are basing
a large part of their expansion
program. Two are in the new port
city of Ashdod, which houses Rogo-
sin Industries, Ltd., Israel's largest
producer of nylon and other
synthetic fabrics.

Kibbutz Reservoir
Damaged by Saboteurs

TEL AVIV (JTA) — Two ex-
plosions caused minor damage to
a water reservoir at Kibbutz Beit
Nir, near the Jordanian border,
early Sunday night, an Israeli
spokesman announced. The actions,
he said, were carried out by mem-
bers of El Fatah, the Arab sabo-
tage group which is based in Jor-
dan.
I s r a e l formally complained
against the action to the Jordan-
Israeli Mixed Armistice Commis-
sion, holding Jordan responsible
for harboring the saboteurs. The
army spokesman said that the ter-
rorists had evidently infiltrated in-
to Israel territory in the daytime.
