ing one another to protect the
public in the preparation, serving

existing laws continue to serve such
a need . . . Some, gathering mold
on the statute books, are too out-
moded for modern day living . . .
Others are ludicrous to the point
of disbelief . . . In Kansas, for in-
stance, an old law states that one
must not eat snakes on Sunday or
rattlesnake meat in public . . . In
Houston, Texas, the law stipulates
