Orthodox Rabbis Council to Dedicate Mizrachi Sends
Israel Passover

center's auditorium will be dedi-
cated.
Rabbi Chaskel Grubner, director
of the Council of Orthodox Rab-
bis, announced this week that the
auditorium of the Vaad Hara-





parents, Solomon a n d Esther
Golde Karbal.
In recognition of Karbal's con-
tributions to traditional causes, a
plaque to be placed in the auditor-
ium will be presented at the an-
nual Council-Merka banquet March
7 at Cobo Hall.
The auditorium is being used
as a special meeting place and a
lecture-study hall.

of the Daf Yomi, "Daily Folio"

which was dedicated by Julius
Rotenberg, contains also the Rabbi
Fischer Beth Din Room, in mem-
ory of Rabbi Moses and Bertha
Fischer, and the Safran Library,
in memory of Elias and Freda Sa-
fran, parents of Hyman and David
Safran.

The Adas Shalom adult study
lecture series on "Psychology,
Religion and the Good Life" will
present Dr. Milton Covensky as
guest speaker 9:15 p.m. Tuesday
in the social hall.
Dr. Covensky, professor of his-
tory at Wayne State University, ,
will discuss "Religion, Men, and
the Modern World." Rabbi Jacob
E. Segal is moderator and discus-
sion leader.
Dr. Covensky, who is complet-
ing an important work on histor-
ical bibliography a n d theory,
teaches a course in history and
philosophy of great religions at
WSU. The community is invited.
