Reform Rabbis Issue
Message for Race
Relations Sabbath

Reform Rabbis were called upon
to accelerate their efforts in the
community to achieve equal em-
ployment opportunities, fair hous-
ing practices, voter registration
and other rights for the Negroes
as called for in the Civil Rights
Act.
The call for action was made by_
the Central Conference of Ameri-
can Rabbis in connection with the
annual "Message for Race Rela-
tions Sabbath." The observance
will be marked this weekend at
synagogue services.
