Relations Problems at
20th Plenary Parley
The future of interreligious life
in America and local problems
stemming from the current civil
rights struggle are some of the
principal concerns of the 20th an-
nual plenary session of the Na-
tional Community Relations Ad-
visory Council (NCRAC) June 25-
28 at the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel,
St. Louis.
The NCRAC is the national pol-
icy-forming and joint program
planning body of six national Jew-
ish organizations and 72 Jewish
community relations councils in
cities throughout the United
States.
Lewis H. Weinstein, of Boston,
NCRAC chairman, said that the
sessions this year, as in previous
years, will develop consensus on
policies and recommendations that
serve as the basis for program ac-
tion and as guidelines for the Jew-
ish community in America on
many social issues and on inter-
group and interreligious relations.
