An occasion of unusual community interest took place at the recent 30th annual meeting of Standard
City Club at which 15 of the 17 past presidents were present. Heading the list of past presidents is
Harry Grant, the first to hold that office, who now is 85. The past presidents in the photo are, from the
left: Standing, David P. Katz, who was re•elected president for the current year; Ado1p Goldberg, Sidney
J. Heimish, Malcolm S. Lowenstein, Sidney A. Jacobs, Herbert A. Greenstone, Lester T. Neiman, Henry L.
Frank; seated, Max J. Zivian, Dr. Peter M. Bernstein, Maurice Aronsson, Harry Grant, Louis C. Blumberg,
Samuel H. Rubiner, Milton M. Maddin. The three past presidents who were out of the city and did not
attend the reunion are Samuel Gerson, Robert J. Jacob and Richard J. Jacob. Besides David Katz as
president, the new officers of Standard City Club are: Herbert A. Aronsson, vice-president; E. A. Harris,
