1 tin Dromedary Date-Nut Roll
1 cup heavy sweet cream
2 tablespoons confectioner's sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Fresh whole strawberries as re-
quired (or other new-season-
berries or fruit)
2 bananas, sliced
Chill date-nue roll in refrigerator
for easier slicing; remove from -tin
and cut into eight equal slices. Add
sugar and lemon juice to sweet cream
and whip till it holds soft peaks. Lay
one slice of date-nut roll on each of
four serving plates, top with sliced
strawberries, sliced banana and whip-
ped cream; add another layer of date-
nut roll, fruits and whipped cream
and chill until ready to serve.

Prepare date-nut roll as above; cut
individual slices with cookie cutter
into rounds to fit parfait glasses. Put
whipped cream, sliced strawberries
and banana at bottom of each glass;
add one round of date-nut roll, one
layer of whipped cream and sliced
fruit and alternate layers in this or-
der to top of each glass. Top off with
whipped cream and one large whole
strawberry; chill and serve.
