featured in Detroit's celebration
of the 15th anniversary of Israel's
independence Sunday, 8 p.m., in
the Mumford. Auditorium, 17525
Wyoming.
Col. Monbaz organized the first
artillery unit of the Israeli Army
in 1948 during Israel's War of
Independence. He was assigned
to the post of Quartermaster of
