United Jewish Appeal 25th Anniversary Issue

JEWISH WELFARE FEDERATION

' Of DETROIT

dedicates this special
supplement to the United
Jewish Appeal—on the 25th
anniversary of its founding;
and to the Detroit Jewish
Welfare Federation's Allied
Jewish Campaign. Nationally,
the UJA has made it possible,
through the generous gifts of
American Jewry, to provide the
means with which to rescue and
rehabilitate the downtrodden
in many lands and the survivors from
Nazism. Locally, the Allied Jewish
Campaign, manned by brilliant
leadership, supported by a devoted
community, has served as the spearhead
for Detroit Jewry in support of this
great humanitarian fund. May the
hands of those who make the great _
rescue efforts possible be upheld
in the years to come.
