Form New Committee on Mental Retardation

Mrs. William H. Frank, chair-
man of the Mayor's Commission
on Children and Youth, an-
nounced the formation of a new
committee on mental retarda-
tion which was formally author-
ized by the commission.
Dean Charles B. Brink of the
Wayne State University School
of Social Work and consultant
to the President's panel on men-
tal retardation will serve as
chairman.
The CMR is composed of ex-
perts in the field of psychiatry,
special education, psychology,
social work and recreation, as
well as representatives of citi-
zens groups particularly con-
cerned with mentally retarded
children.
