MRS. SAMUEL HIRT

In a ceremony Nov. 4 at
Shaarey Shomayim Synagogue in
Oak Park, Diana Levin became
the bride of Dr. Samuel Charles
Hirt. The rites were performed
by Rabbi Sholom Flam, Rabbi
Leo Goldman and Cantor Hyman
Adler.
Parents of the newlyweds are
Mr.- and Mrs. Isadore Levin of
Outer Dr. and Mr. and Mrs.
William Hirt of Long Island
City, N.Y.
The bride wore an imported
self-brocade true bell skirt with
scooped neckline and three-
quarter-length sleeves. A bouf-
fant veil was of imported illu-
sion and was held by a Grecian
head piece.
Mrs. Aaron Brewer, sister of
the bridegroom, was matron of
honor. The bride's other attend-
ants were Golda Katz and Mrs.
Raphael Levine.
Joseph Hirt served his brother
as best man. William Levin,
brother of the bride, and Aaron
Brewer, brother-in-law of the
bridegroom, were ushers.
After a honeymoon in Miami
Beach, Fla., the newlyweds will
reside in New York City.

service, educational and chari-

Gordon Fruitman, camp aign
chairman.
Bnai Brith women will cul-

Studded Show" on Nov. 17 and

ed will be renowned tenor Jan
Peerce, comic Jack Wakefield,

Gordon and his Orchestra.
Among the organization's
many activities to benefit from
the fund-raising show are its
medical projects. The National
Jewish Hospital in Denver was
founded by Bnai Brith in 1899.
Its motto is "None Who Enter
Can Pay; None Who Can Pay
Can Enter."
Originally founded for the
treatment of tuberculosis, the
hospital is now engaged in
treatment, rehabilitation, educa-
