Jewish Congress 1962 Stephen
S. Wise Award, Attorney Gen-
eral ROBER F. KENNEDY said
in New York that the American
struggle against Communist can-
not be won "just by confronting
the enemy" but depends on ac-
celerated efforts "to banish re-
ligious prejudice, racial dis-
crimination and any intoler-
ance" which denies Americans
their constitutional rights.

PEC Israel Economic Corpora-

Sapir, who has held his cabi-

Will-O-Way Theater
Now Forming Classes
The Will-O-Way Apprentice
Theater is now organizing new
classes which will begin be-
tween Nov. 5 and 12. The new
term is being offered on a
once-a-week basis at both the
theater in Bloomfield Hills and
the New Detroit Studio on
Seven Mile Rd. near Southfield.
Play Production courses will
end with performances Feb. 16
through 24. Classes range from
pre-kindergarten through adult
beginning theater and the pro-
fessional university workshop.
The small classes which are
limited to twelve students ; com-
bine theory and practice of act-
ing with actual experience in
front of an audience. For in-

Party Will Benefit
Handicapped Kids at
Oakman School
Handicapped children at the
Oakman School will benefit from
proceeds of the annual games
party, sponsored by the Oakman
School Parent's Club, to be held
Wednesday evening at the Ameri-
can Legion Post, Greenfield at
Schoolcraft.
There will be prizes and
refreshments will be served.
Proceeds are used for recrea-
tional, educational and occupa-
tional therapy facilities not pro-
vided by the Board of Educa-
tion.

Refurbish Cass
as Movie Theater
Sheldon Smerling, president
of Beacon Enterprises, Inc., an-
nounced that he has concluded
negotiations with Paul Marco,
attorney for the estate of the
late Edward Douglas Stair, to
take over operation of Detroit's
Cass Theatre and will convert
it into an all-purpose film
theater.
The Cass will be completely
refurbished at a cost estimated
at $250,000. Located at the
corner of Washington Blvd. and
Lafayette in downtown Detroit,
the theater will be renamed
"The Summit."
