Michigan Jewish War Veterans to Hold 21st Annual Convention

The Department of Michigan
Jewish War Veterans and its
Ladies Auxiliary will convene
here May 26-27 for its 21st
annual state convention.
On May 26, services will be
held at Beth Abraham Syna-
gogue.
Attending the services along
with Michigan JWV and JWVA
delegates will be National Com-
mander Theodore Brooks of New
York.
An Oneg Shabbat will be held

for the Ladies Auxiliary on May
26 at the Jewish War Veterans
Memorial Home, 4095 W. Davi-
son. Mrs. Oscar Katz, Department
Leadership Training chairman,
is in charge of the Oneg Shah-
bat.

A party with games, entertain.
ment, prizes and refreshments
will be held at the Memorial
Home 9 p.m. the same day.
